I have always loved storytelling, whether it be through face to face conversation, writing or design. Storytelling has always come naturally and as a passion to me due to my belief that everyone and everything has a story to tell.
I grew up participating in writing competitions, taking ballet classes, and working for the yearbook I realized that not only were there infinite ways to tell a story but that brands take many forms.
When I got to TCU, I knew Strategic Communication, a combination of PR and advertising, was the perfect major for me because I got the opportunity to tell other people’s stories through endearing brands. Throughout my four years, I had the opportunity to take classes in strategic writing, case studies, digital storytelling, media writing and editing intro to the fashion industry, and global brand management just to name a few, while taking part in three internships and a leadership position in my sorority as well. All of these opportunities have prepared me to be the ultimate storyteller in the professional world and I am excited to continue gaining experience after graduation.
I am presently seeking entry level positions in public relations, marketing, social media or journalism in Texas or New York.
